Which cats are covered?
Currently, we offer pet health insurance for cats and cats, who should be over 8 weeks old or under 6 years old when the policy is purchased. They may not be eligible for coverage if they suffer from certain pre-existing conditions.
What’s not covered?
Pre-existing conditions
Any condition, illness, or abnormality that your pet exhibited signs of or was diagnosed with prior to the end of the waiting period.
Breed standardization procedures
Treatments or surgeries solely performed to align your pet with breed standards, unless deemed medically necessary
Pets over 6 years old
Coverage applies only to pets between 8 weeks and 6 years old at the start of the insurance policy. Pets older than 6 years are not eligible for coverage.
Brachycephalic syndrome treatment
Treatments and operations required due to brachycephalic syndrome, such as the operation on a soft palate that is too long.
When to use cat health insurance?
Tumor removal
These procedures can range from €500 to over €1,500, depending on complexity and the pet's condition.
Bladder inflammation
Is your pet facing issues like frequent urination or discomfort? Treatment cost €100–€200, depending on severity.
Eye infections
Red, swollen, or watery eyes? Costs typically range from €50–€150, covering diagnosis and basic treatment.
Bone fractures
Broken bones need urgent care to heal properly. Costs for x-rays, treatment, and surgery can range from €500–€2,000.

Pay the bill upfront

Some considerations
Cost increases with age
The premium increase is applied when your cat reaches certain age milestones. Specifically, the price adjustment occurs when your cat turns 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 years of age.
Cancelation policy
Your initial contract lasts for 1 year. After this period, you’re free to cancel your policy at any time. If you move abroad, you have the option to cancel your policy right away, regardless of how long you’ve held the policy.
Lifetime coverage
If you purchased the insurance before your cat's 6th birthday, they will be covered for life. Unfortunately, if your cat is already 6 or older, they are not eligible for this policy.
