Advantages of expat health insurance

Visit private or public hospitals
With expat health insurance, you’re free to choose from accredited doctors, specialists, dentists, and hospitals.
You can book an appointment with a specialist directly — no referral required.

Family members and dependents
Dependents can be added to your plan. Each dependent gets their own policy, all managed under one account.
To add a dependent:
- Sign up for yourself first (or the main policyholder)
- Log in, go to your expat health policy, and click Add dependents
- Choose the policy that suits them; it doesn't have to match yours

Easily upgrade to public or private health insurance
If you start a new job, you can easily upgrade your policy directly in your Feather account.
In most cases, we can even refund any overlap in coverage to ensure you are not double charged at any time.
