Why get pet insurance?

Veterinary care in the Netherlands is known for its high quality but it comes at a price. Even a single visit for diagnostics or surgery can cost hundreds or thousands of euros.

Pet insurance is not mandatory in the Netherlands, but it offers peace of mind, especially when you’re new to the Dutch system.
