Yes, the policy specifically covers stays in your home country for up to 180 days per calendar year. This allows you to visit family or handle affairs back home without losing your health protection.

No, the USA has specific restrictions. While you are covered for travel to the States, those stays are limited to a maximum of 60 days per calendar year. Furthermore, coverage in the USA is strictly for medical emergencies and accidents; planned or elective treatments are not covered.

Most medical treatments are covered immediately once your policy starts. However, there is a 10-month waiting period for childbirth, psychotherapy, and dental replacements (unless due to an accident), and a 2-year waiting period for laser eye surgery (LASIK).
