Travel health insurance for France

Travel health insurance is for anyone planning a short or long-stay visit to France and needs health insurance to cover the duration of their stay or until they've earned the right to join PUMA (Protection Universelle Maladie).

Any person aged 75 or under who is planning to visit or live in France / Schengen area.

The overall benefits are limited to a total of 50,000.00 EUR per insured person for all insurance incidents. Coverage includes medically necessary in and out-patient care not related to pre-existing condition known before taking out the insurance.

We offer monthly billing, which means you will pay in advanced for each month of cover. We accept credit/debit card and PayPal.

A certificate of coverage is required for most French visas. All necessary documents will be generated and sent to your preferred email within 48 hours of purchase.

We believe in a flexible cancellation policy. If your stay is cut short, or you've joined the French healthcare system, you are not required to hold the policy for the full 12 months. Simply contact us to submit a cancellation request and we'll take care of the rest. In the unfortunate event your visa application is denied, we will cancel the policy for you and issue a full refund.

An insurance card will be included in your policy documents and can be printed out for you to hold. Please note that you do not need to print out your insurance card to use the insurance. In most cases, you will pay for medical treatment out of your own pocket and then submit the itemized invoices for review and reimbursement.

After paying your medical bills upfront, you must request an itemized invoice from your doctor/dentist. The invoice should include a break down of what was performed and any costs associated with the treatment. Simply take clear pictures of all invoices/receipts from your treatment and submit them to hello@feather-insurance.com. Our team will then process your claim and contact you if additional information is needed.
