Bike insurance in Spain at €8.57

You just need to be over 18 and live in Spain.

The amount you are reimbursed is based on the incurred cost within the limits of the total insured sum below:

• €500,000 for unintentional damage to others (third-party liability).
• €500,000 for legal protection if using the insurer’s lawyers (€1,500 if using lawyers of choice).
• €30,000 for medical injuries to yourself.
• €1,500 for traffic fines protection.
• €1,500 for accidental damages from others to your vehicle.
• €500 for accidental own damages to your vehicle.

In the event of an incident, you can file a claim easily through your Feather account. When the claim is approved, the reimbursement will be directly transferred to the account provided in the claim request.

Eligible vehicles:

• Bikes.
• Personal mobility vehicles (e-bikes, e-scooters, hoverboards, segways, etc.) that stop powered assistance at 25km/h.
• The “Own damage protection” is limited to the vehicle you included while signing up, purchased no more than 15 days before the policy start date. The rest of coverages still apply, regardless of purchase date.

Non-Eligible Vehicles:

• Personal mobility vehicles that can be powered faster than 25km/h.
• Vehicles used commercially, such as delivery or other jobs.
• Vehicles subject to registration.

A simple passport will suffice. NIE or DNI are also accepted. Additionally, for the "Own Damage Protection", you must provide the vehicle's name, model, and frame number.

You have up to 14 days to cancel your policy and get a full refund. After that, policies have a minimum term of one year.
